Russ Fiore is in his 35th year at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island where he currently serves as Head Athletic Trainer. He has an article entitled, "Plantar-Plate Disruptions: 'The Severe Turf-Toe Injury.' Three Cases in Contact Athletes" pending publication in the JAT. It's available online now! Russ also holds several patents for technology used widely in athletic training--namely bracing and rehab equipment. He talks extensively about his experiences in bringing his ideas from concept to marketplace and the patent process. Fascinating stuff!
