Leslie Dent is in her fourth year at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina. She sat down with me and talked about her career and experiences in athletic training. This was SUPPOSED to be a two-part episode with her colleague Brandon Auton, but I am a schmuck and screwed up the recording! I will be presenting that content next week. Sorry ATPodcasters!!!!

Hannah Gaveske is a Certified Athletic Trainer in her third year at the United States Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. She talks about her experiences there as well as about working BMX Supercross events and on several Dew Extreme Sports Tour stops. We also talk about the USOC's Sports Medicine Volunteer Program as well. Hannah was previously employed at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where she worked with Chris Norton, a Luther College athlete who had sustained a spinal cord injury. She was instrumental in helping Chris form SCI CAN--a non-profit organization whose mission is to support those with spinal cord injury and neurological disorders. She talks about this in this episode. Please visit the link below to learn more.
