Larry Starr spent 30 years working as an athletic trainer in Major League Baseball.  He was, in fact, the first Certified Athletic Trainer in the big leagues.  He talks about his most exciting career with Dr. Pradeep Vanguri.  An unbelievable story!

Sarah Philipp is a Tusculum College graduate working as Southeastern Sports Medicine in Asheville, North Carolina as an outreach Certified Athletic Trainer at Hendersonville, High School.  She talks about her current job and her experience as a fellow with New Hampshire Musculoskeletal Institute.  She also talks about her recent interest in incorporating yoga into rehabilitative protocols. Cool stuff!

Dr. Frank Walters was inducted into the National Athletic Trainers' Association in 2010 after a long career which, among other things, saw him oversee athletic healthcare to Washington DC schools.  Dr. Walters was instrumental in the creation of the NATA's Ethnic Diversity Advisory Committee.  He currently serves as the Director of Sports Medicine for Broward Health and joined Pradeep Vanguri for an informative and entertaining discussion on his career and the lessons learned throughout.

Mike Finke of Patterson Medical chats with me a little about his career as a Certified Athletic Trainer in the NFL and major College/University settings and we talk at length about how his background made him a great resource to athletic trainers while working in medical supply and equipment sales.  His experiences afford him a neat perspective on many different job settings for Certified Athletic Trainers.  A great interview!
